What version of OS X do you have? Have you seen the following notes on
the Download page?
Problem: Apache OpenOffice 4.1.16 is not available for OS X (version
<= 10.6) (DMG).
Solution: Please select version 4.0.1.
and (for OS X >= 10.7)
