I had to laugh because LibreOffice, but this actually worked after a
little hunt for the correct place of the Element. Thank you. I remember
blurry that I used this in my first Volume, too. I seem to have forgotten.

Which leads me to Brian Barker, thank you as well - this Offset logic
makes sense, on hindsight. I suppose my thought process is just... not
going the exact way this is supposed to work so I make the wrong turn
each time. Less clicks = easier to remember.

To Matthias: I accidently replied only to you, but generally, a nice
guide I will keep in mind. Again what learned (sorry I had to)
Since I don't use Chapters but hundreds of connected scenes, cutting
apart is... not my goal.

Either way thanks again, this helped me solve my issue. I will possibly
forget this again but hopefully I will solve this situation as nicely
next time as well.
Good day to everybody.

I am currently trying to split my work in separate pieces to decrease

wrong here?

Yes and yes.

Trying numbers like "+9" and "+10" does work.

For some reason, applying an offset to the Page Number field, as you
have done, will show some offset page numbers, but not any that exceed
the actual number of pages in the document. 9 and 10 will work,
providing your (second) document has at least ten pages. But your
offset of 925 will not work if this part of the document has fewer
than 925 pages.

There is an effective way to produce the result:
o Right-click in the first paragraph of the document and select
Paragraph... | Text Flow | Breaks.
o Tick Insert and select Page for Type and Before for Position.
o Tick With Page Style and select the appropriate style from the
drop-down menu.
o Set your required page number in the "Page number" box.

My current OO version is 4.1.13, as I read some people might have
issues on brand new updates I always wait a little until I update as
well.

Time to update?

I trust this helps.
