Well, I'm surprised, millions of users have installed OpenOffice and haven't observed the problems.

I'm even more surprised that you didn't tested it on the latest version of Windows.

Repro Steps:
1. Install the application from vendor site.
2. Launch the application.
3. Observe.

Actual Results:
App hangs on launching

Expected Results:
The Application should run successful without any issues.
