Seems you need to: navigate to the directory the RPMs were extracted to su to root issue the command rpm -Uvih *rpm there's a few other steps for shell integration Been a while since I installed my DEB version but, if I recall correctly, it was the same process. Extract, use a wildcard to indicate all DEBs, *deb. That install is working just fine.
