Hi,

Beware, you're not subscribed to the list, you've missed some other replies
(you can check them in the web-based mail archives however).

But basically, the message is: you're out of luck.
What would be the point of a password if it were that simple to crack it?

The only way is to try brute force cracking but it will take you too much time
I guess.
If you can't try the multiple possibilities you can remember, then consider
your file lost.

How do I open a document I forgot the password to? It will not let me make a
new copy. The instructions are to open the document and save a copy of it to
begin editing it. But, I cannot do that the document will not open without a
password. I cannot save a new copy it has to be open before I can save and
rename it.

How do I get the password off? Who do I go to for help.
