Merve, This is what you can do for now:
1) Install an archive extractor like 7-Zip, which is free. 2) Expand the OpenOffice document. The underlying structure of an OpenOffice document is an archive file. 3) Open the content.xml file using a text editor such as Notepad++, which is also free. You may be able to salvage some of the contents of your thesis from there.
