wonder if anyone can help?
i have a large (1500 rows by 12 columns) spreadsheet which i want to filter at the top to just show specific rows with various criteria. when i put the filters on at the top row (as i am well aware how to do in Excel for example), openoffice seems to suddenly show filter arrows in not only the top header row columns but other apparently random rows throughout the sheet aswell. highlightling each of those rows and choosing 'data, autofilter' doesn't always turn them off, and is hugely time consuming.
Anyone else had this problem? Internet search has proved fruitless.
Anyone have a solution?

Any help appreciated. Love openoffice apart from this. I am near expert level at Excel but cannot seem to find a resolution to this problem
Many thanks in advance
Andrew
