Dear Open Office (Apache),
I am a Linux user and obey by the laws of Open Source development and
production. I embrace everything which is designed to set the internet
free to it's core, of which Open Office development has been a leading
contributor for cross-platform unity. Thank you.
I am disabled and have to do my shopping online, mostly through Amazon.
While searching the Amazon computer software pages, I came across some
discs of Open Office for sale by various purveyors. This concerns me as
the process of Open Source is to either download from the developer'
website directly, or from the safe links provided on that website. And,
even to order the discs directly from them.
Do the people or companies involved in selling Open Office in the links
below have permission to sell Open Office under a contract? I'd do not
like the thought of people making money from something which is freely
given by the developers who have forged their reputations out of the
good will of donations from users.
