Should have described operating system. I’m using a mac with os x 10.11.4 (el
Capitan). Any suggestions? The files were created with the Seagate drive
connected directly to my laptop. Now I have the Seagate connected to the router
so I can get at the files from both my laptop and my iMac.

Thanks,
freder
