Usually the x86 indicates a 32 bit processor, the AMD indicates a 64 bit 
processor.  At present all Windows versions of OpenOffice are 32 bit and run on 
bit 32 and 64 bit proicessors, with the caveat that any Javsa thy use must be 
32 bit (download a version from www.java.com with 586 in the filename); this 
must be installed and then selected in OO /Tools /Options /OpenOffice : Java.

The 1935 error is a Windows error and seems to be a problem arising from a 
corrupted Microsoft Net framework. This thread may help
