[BCC Apache OpenOffice Project Management Committee] Juri,
The Windows Store applications "OpenOffice Writer" and "OpenOffice Text Viewer" are not produced by the Apache OpenOffice project. They are not the "official" application. Although it is permissible for others to build versions of Apache OpenOffice that are their own custom products, there are some formalities involved and it is helpful that there be no confusion with distributions provided by the AOO project itself. It is not clear at all what relationship these two apps have to Apache OpenOffice. I see that the listings in the Store link to http://www.openoffice.org as the web site for these applications. Terms of Use are listed as "All rights reserved" and the support email address is to openoffice.windows.supp...@yahoo.com, not an address for this project. If and when Windows Store applications are available from the project itself, be assured they will be featured prominently on the openoffice.org web site, along with distributions made available in other app stores.
