To whom it may concern.

Hello, I am a British guy in Croatia, actually trying to learn the native
language. As such I have recently purchased a computer with the Croatian
keyboard and downloaded the language pack's for the language from
Microsoft, but I have not figured out how to implement them into the Open
Office system. I am hoping that I will be able to help myself and possibly
others learn the language through my notes, but I need an English set of
instructions in order to get the Microsoft Croatian pack to work properly,
and at this time I have not figured out how to accomplish that. I am
working on an Acer Aspire E5-57, an Intel(R) Core (TM) i3-4005U CPU @ 1.70
Ghz, and 4 G-RAM. With Windows 8.1 with Bing installed. The keyboard is of
the Croatian Standard Language. What I have not yet figured out is how to
turn some switch on to actually be able to type in that language. I would
like to know ultimately how I can switch back and forth between English and
Croatian, so that I can write documents that will allow me to remember the
translations, and maybe the phonetics from IPA could help. I know that that
is probably too much to hope for, but it would certainly make the task I
have set for myself a whole lot easier if those three language bases could
be incorporated into one kind of document.

I realize that this is a long and slow process to learn a new language, and
to type it out is the added dimension of new language, old language and the
phonetic things, but if I can find a suite of tools that helps me, it's
certainly worth the effort. If someone there can point me to a forum that
would help me understand the processes needed for this project it might
help my learning, and certainly once I have some level of understanding of
this language, if I can help on translations, it may be something that
could possibly help you, since from my reading it states that you have not
had anyone attempt to help you on your newer version of this suite of
office tools. I won't promise that for any time soon however since I have
only scheduled my first classes for next week.

Any directions or forums you can point out to help me with my technical
difficulties and ineptness would certainly be appreciated.

Sincerely

Daniel DeFoe.
