I recently did an upgrade from a development version of 4.1.1 to a production
version (AOO411m6(Build:9775)). I don't know what the build was for the
development version; it was quite some time ago, maybe 6 months.

In any case, when I go to open a spreadsheet (.ods) or a text file (.odt),
I get the message "Not all attributes could be read". After dismissing the
message, the files appear to finish loading fine and subsequently write fine
after modifying; but the message persists when reloaded.

If I try to create a new document from a saved text template (.ott), I get
the message "Error creating a new document: General Error.". For a
spreadsheet from a template, I get the message "Warning creating a new document:
Not all attributes could be read." But again, the document comes up ok.

If I open an MS word (.doc) or excel (.xlsm) document, they come up fine.

If I open an old (3.4 generated, I suspect; created 2011-02-13) .odt file,
I get the error message "General Error", so I don't think it has anything to
do with using the development version of 4.1.1. However, the development
version I was using did not have this problem; unfortunately, I can't
easily revert to it.

I'm running freebsd 9.2. If started from the command line, there are no
messages in the terminal window when the error is posted to the display.

Any hints on what's going on and how to get rid of the annoying dialog?

Thanks,

Gary
