To swipe a concept from an old Apple commercial, “The most powerful software is the one people use.” If what you’re using gets the job done, then your question is answered: Use it. WordPerfect, Word and AOo have learning curves; if you don’t need to invest the time on those learning curves, then common sense would say, “Don’t.”
