Is this for Base, Calc, Draw, Impress, Math, or Writer? Each one of those has a different set of things to adjust, in a different part of the menu structure. Assuming you don't want auto-anything in Writer. ">Tools >AutoCorrect Options >Word Completion" * Uncheck "Enable Word Completion"; * Uncheck "Collect Words"; * Delete all of the words in the list on the right hand side; ">Tools >AutoCorrect Options >Localized Options" These tend to be useful, but nonetheless, you might want to uncheck everything. ">Tools >AutoCorrect Options >Options" Just uncheck everything here, and be done with it. Whilst some of the options are useful, others are not just annoying, but are outright destructive. ">Tools >AutoCorrect Options >Exceptions" * Uncheck both of the checkboxes that are marked "autoinclude". This applies even if those entries are blank. Now the fun begins. You need to repeat that option for every language, and every locale that you use. :( «This is when you'll wish somebody had created an extension that automatically unchecks everything here, and in the other places.» ">Tools >Options >Language Settings >Writing Aids" * Uncheck everything under "Available Language Modules"; * Uncheck everything under "User-Defined Dictionaries"; * Uncheck everything under "Options"; ">Tools >Options >Language Settings >English Sentence Checking" * Uncheck everything here; ">Tools >Options >Load/Save >General" * Uncheck everything on that page; Um, how much auto-everything do you want to eliminate? That eliminates almost all of the annoying auto-something that LibO does. It also eliminates some useful functionality. AFAIK, there is no way to turn off the most aggravating auto- feature in Calc --- word-completion. jonathon
