Hi Ken,

While I understand that you are frustrated, it's not clear if you are
asking for assistance, or just venting your frustration. In either case,
your original message never got through to anyone who could help,
because the language used breached mailing list policy and a moderator
correctly blocked it.

You say that you have used and presumably enjoyed this free software for
years, but I am not sure you realize who "you people" are. OpenOffice is
a FOSS (Free Open Source Software) project, not a company or corporation
with paid employees. We are all users of the software (just like you)
and some users voluntarily contribute to the project by way of, writing
code to fix bugs or add new features, writing documentation, providing
support and assistance to fellow users and helping out with the many
other aspects of the project.

Although you message provides almost no useful information about the
issue you are experiencing and assuming that you are actually seeking a
solution, this sounds like a problem a few users have reported when
updating the software on MS Windows computers. The link below (Resetting
Your User Profile) may be helpful to you.

If this does not resolve your issue, please write back (/in somewhat
less colorful terms/ ) with specific details of how you are opening the
program, what happens and any error messages (if any) you see when you
try to open the program, to the users@openoffice.apache.org mailing
list, or post to the forum https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/ where
you will find many other users ready and willing to assist with any
problems you have with this software.

Regards
Dave (Just another user of the software.)
