There is no equivalent of Microsoft Outlook on the Desktop in Apache OpenOffice.
Most users employ third-party email programs or use web email (e.g., gmail or Outlook.com, formerly Hotmail). Depending on the version of Windows you are operating, you might also be able to use the desktop Email that is built into Windows (or obtained via Windows Live) as a partial substitute. Outlook.com does provide calendar and contacts but there is not the richness of desktop Outlook. I would try it to see if you like it enough as a substitute. With OneDrive, which you can also have, you may find the cloud storage and the availability of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint web applications useful as a supplement to Apache OpenOffice. - Dennis -----Original Message----- From: Dan Kusel [mailto:danku...@rogers.com] Sent: Friday, May 1, 2015 13:49 To: users@openoffice.apache.org Subject: Outlook I currently use Microsoft Office and would like to try Open Office.
