Dear Stewert; This is a known issue with some versions of AOO on Mac systems. Below is the section from the 4.0.1 release notes with a work around: > On recent versions of Mac OS X it might happen, especially after a > "Force quit", that the following error message appears: "Restore > Windows - The application OpenOffice.org was forced to quit while > trying to restore its windows. Do you want to try to restore its > windows again?". If you cannot get rid of it: Option-click the "Go" > menu; choose "Library" from the menu to open the folder in the > Finder; click on the folder "Saved Application State"; delete the > file "org.openoffice.script.savedState". See bug 119006 and bug > 123681 for more information. Also most all attachments to the list are stripped by the software that manages the mailing lists. If a screen shot is needed to help explain your problem then it is best to upload it to a file sharing site and post a link to it in the e-mail to the list. If you find that you are running a version less that v4.1.0 than I would suggest that you upgrade to 4.1.0 as it is the latest release and has many bug fixes. Regards Keith
