Unfortunately, any sort of Android Open Office is not produced by the Apache OpenOffice project. That is an unfortunate coincidence of initials.
The Apache OpenOffice project does not produce an Android or other mobile version at this point. Apache OpenOffice is currently available for Windows desktop (PC), Macintosh, and a variety of Linux distributions. It is designed to operate as a desktop computer office suite. Also, Apache OpenOffice downloads are available for free. There are no fees and no embedded advertising of any kind. For support of an Android Open Office you need to contact whoever is providing it. If it is AndrOpen Office, try <https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andropenoffice>. It appears that these independent derivations may be based on the open-source code maintained and released by the Apache OpenOffice project. That is completely permissible, as is packaging versions for sale and other custom purposes. However, the support of such altered versions, despite links that may have been included in their renditions, is not something that the Apache OpenOffice project team of volunteers and helpful users have the means to support. Sorry. -----Original Message----- From: Bear [mailto:b...@pgardner.net] Sent: Sunday, December 14, 2014 06:44 To: users@openoffice.apache.org Subject: Professional pack Good day; I have the Android Open Office and I have purchased the Professional Pack. I am running it on a Samsung Tab4 8 inch with KitKat. I have a few issues that I would like to get resolved. The first one is, I leave AOO open at length with out making any inputs, half the time, the document will close itself and when I wake up my tabet, I have to reopen the document. When I do open it, it goes into recovery mode, indicating that it was a crash, and the document does recover, but, it should not be doing that. In relation to the recovery, when I open a document at a later time after having properly closed it, again, it goes into recovery again. This issue is getting worse, I am finding that it is crashing while opening or during use of the app. The next issue I have is, I use the text document to keep a timeline of events, each entry starts with the time then at the end of my document, I have a line in which I put the number of hours in decimal form that are carried over, the new days hours, and total for the week it looks like this. 29.50 Day12.25 Week 41.75 everytime I hit the return key to move to the next line it automatically turns on line numbering, changes what I have typed and will not allow me to do what I want, and I can not find how to turn off the function. Another issue is, I have purchased the Professional Pack, and I see no difference in the app other than there are no ads. There are no help or support files installed,, when I c lick on them, they say, "File Not installed" Please help with these issues or I will be forced to remove the app and use something else.
