Dear Brian,
The document has only one sheet. The problem is solved. Thank you. Sincerely,
Karel.

Recently I made some Calc spreadsheets, but with one of them I have a
problem. When I preview for printing, I get to see a bald plain gray
screen. If I want to print the document, I get the error message
"There are in the document no pages selected to print.". However, the
document has only one page, so it has to be automatically selected.
What is going on here? How can I fix this?
The most likely scenario is that you have a print range set somewhere
in the document but containing nothing to print. I'm not sure what you
mean by "only one page": is that a printed page or do you mean that
the spreadsheet has only one sheet? This print range may be on the
same sheet as your real data or could be on another sheet. Note that a
print range on any sheet restricts the whole document - so nothing
anywhere in the document will print except whatever is included in
print ranges.
To remove print ranges, go to Format | Print Ranges > | Remove. You
will need to do this for each sheet on which there may currently be a
print range defined. Alternatively, of course, you may prefer simply
to delete any unwanted sheets (containing print ranges) that may be
causing the problem. To delete a sheet, right-click the sheet tab and
select Delete Sheet... .
I trust this helps.
