If you are using OS X, you can slow the tracking speed of the mouse by:
 SYSTEM PREFERENCES -> MOUSE   You then have the option of slowing the
tracking speed. Hope this helps..I did this when I had carpel tunnel
surgery and could not move my hand easily.
