Linux, Mac, Solaris, Windows, etc.) and the program version (eg. 4.01) you are using. Your email header suggests your OS is a version of Windows, in which case I suggest the following: Even if you still have the software installation program you originally downloaded, download it again from http://www.openoffice.org/download. It is always a good idea to check the downloaded file for download errors by comparing the checksums as noted here: http://www.openoffice.org/download/checksums.html Run the installation program and you will be offered a few options. Take the "Repair" option and when the reinstall/repair has finished the program should work as expected.
