I've installed Apache OpenOffice 3.4.1 on the release version of Windows 8 Pro (64-bit) and I have seen no difficulty. The tiles for the icons look rather nice on the start page.

Others who depend on Java-based features will need to install Java. -----Original Message----- From: Rob Weir [mailto:robw...@apache.org] Sent: Monday, November 26, 2012 16:11 To: users@openoffice.apache.org Subject: Re: Platforms.. We're not planning a special update for Windows 8. -Rob > Tony (ton...@mchsi.com) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@openoffice.apache.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@openoffice.apache.org
