I have used Netbeans in the past for some html/php/javascript dabblings. I don't do Java development and so will be installing using the community installer version of Netbeans 24.
Please can you advise: (a) when a new version/community installation of Netbeans becomes available do I have to uninstall the existing version before installing the new one, or can I just install over the top? (b) is xdebug v3 compatible with Netbeans 24, or do I have to use xdebug v2? (c) what is the latest version of php supported for hints and tips etc?
