Nothing wrong with the Javadoc viewer aspect as far as I can tell.  On
the other hand, the platform RELEASE240 Javadoc artefacts appear to be
broken - no index file or files for any of the classes.

Can you double check with RELEASE230 and make sure that works for you?

Works as expected. Validated your findings. I'll open the GitHub issue.

Changed the pom property to RELEASE230 (one should use a pom property, one change, one build, done).

If it's just RELEASE240, can you open an issue on GitHub?  This should
be a high priority requirement for RELEASE250.
