Hi, I have a simple Java-only project. After a while, Step-over causes a permanent debugger freeze. In Variables window there are messages like "Evaluating...", "Action stepOver is pending...". In the Debugging window there is "main... evaluating method". It seems that it is especially fragile when evaluating a highlighted variable in the editor or "stepping over" a closing brace.
I upgraded NB from 21 to 22, the problem was still there. Then it disappeared and reappeared when I attempted to evaluate the value of a local variable. CIean&build does not help. Restarting the IDE helps rarely. I use JDK 21. Thanks, Daehyun
