Yes, but there aren't necessarily Platform changes between NetBeans
releases. I think you could look at the individual module versions to
see if something actually changed.

(AdoptOpen)JDK 8 and 11 work. I assume you'll stay with an LTS
release. Next LTS is Java 17 in Sept 2021.

For sure. http://coolbeans.xyz comes pre-bundled with AdoptOpenJDK 11.
