Thank you . That did work. I am running on Java10 now, with Netbeans 9.0.
netbeans_jdkhome="/usr/lib/jvm/java-10-oracle" It still would be nice to have an installer, I still don’t have an icon to click on... I am a pretty good USER on Linux, but not very good INSTALLER type. It didn’t ask me if I wanted to bring any settings over from previous versions ( Which was 8.2 ) but being Linux, figured it couldn’t find it’s way. So, I am happy for now.. but a DEB variant would make life a lot easier for a lot of people.. Thanks again.
