https://bitbucket.org/phansson/netbeansnetworkauthenticator This plugin solved some years ago my isues inside an intranet with a specific proxy between the internet. I cauld find that the origin of the problem which results in opening a dialog which asks for credentials was the proxy but the company dont investigate in fixing the proxy issue. With the above plugin the problem cault be workaround.
