Oh, no! Clearing the cache did not fix the problem. I am still getting the mixed
theme. This is worse than either metal or dark metal; this hybrid is practically
unreadable!
Then I tried changing the colors using Options/Fonts&Colors/Syntax; I changed
the Profile to netbeans. Still messed up :(
What to do now? Reinstall netbeans? (I hope my project folders and .netbeans
preferences are not hopelessly corrupted?) Should have left things alone; the
defaults were not really that bad :(
