The "no dd for=WEB-INF/webservices.xml" is a bug, it's a forgotten System.out. this issue could be related, but maybe not: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MEVENIDE-537 Glad to hear your problem was resolved by switching to GF2. You might also want to try to switch to netbeans 6.0 miletones or (upcoming) beta1.
