Is there a 2.0.6 workaround that lets me do deploy:deploy-file using DAV with a default, maven-generated POM? All of my repositories are DAV-based, and getting an outside artifact into them (with the correct attendant metadata) is somewhere between annoying and difficult. Currently, the solution is to have an instance of 2.0.5 on my machine, open a shell, point M2_HOME and PATH to that version instead of 2.0.6, and do deploys from that shell. All in all, not quite as clean as easy as http://docs.codehaus.org/display/MAVENUSER/Deploying+3rd+Party+Jars+With+WebDAV, the instructions for which have apparently become obsolete since 2.0.6 And since I'm pummeling the equine corpse, IS there a reason why DAV deployments aren't part of the basic maven install? Thanks, Mykel -- I'm just an unfrozen caveman software developer. I don't understand your strange, "modern" ways.
