2- which version of the exec mojo are you using ?
3- what if you only do mvn install ? Is there still a problem of
shortened build lifecycle ?
4- can you send the relevant extract of your pom.xml as well as from
the ouput of mvn -X clean install ?
5- can you send a test project that reproduces the problem ?
