Apologies for mailing wide, but i wasn't able to find administrator

I've been intermittently trying to subscribe to this list over the past
few days,
but each time i send off a confirmation email it bounces with the
following:

org> was undeliverable.
The reason for the problem:
5.1.0 - Unknown address error 552-'spam score (6.3) exceeded
threshold'
Now, i've certainly sent off a bunch of subscription requests
(maybe half-a-dozen or so), but hardly enough to qualify as spam ;-)
Perhaps the server needs some attention?
or perhaps I'm just an unwitting spec in the midst of a deluge of maven
2.x wannabees...
