I don't think it is a good idea. You should always manually upgrade your dependencies to see if nothing break in your application. So in short, I don't think there is a way to do that and I don't think many people would be interested in this solution.

Hi! I've been looking for a way to specify that the latest STABLE version of a library (dependency) should be used automatically. However, I can't seem to find any information on this. Is this not possible? The "Dependency Version Ranges" doesn't solve the problem for me since it sets with the lowest version satisfying the range. This guy had the same question about a year ago, but it doesn't look promising: http://www.nabble.com/newbie-ques%3A-downloading-latest-stable-jars-t74577.html#a202750 Regards, Jimisola -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/How-to-get-the-latest-STABLE-version-of-a-library-dependency-automatical-t1851718.html#a5055636 Sent from the Maven - Users forum at Nabble.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
