This is what I have.  

The cobertura-maven-plugin does not exist in in the ibiblio repository any
more, and links to the plugin don't work ???

The plugin works well for me:

Add the following build configuration into the pom.xml file:

  <build>
    <plugins>
      <plugin>
        <groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId>
        <artifactId>cobertura-maven-plugin</artifactId>
        <executions>

              <goal>clean</goal>
            </goals>
          </execution>

Need to upgrade to Maven 2.0.3.
