Well the interesting thing is, I'm running continuum on the same machine
as the one that I did the command from the command prompt: "mvn clean
install --batch-mode --non-recursive"
The command prompt works just fine..

My pom.xml looks like this:
<scm>

scm:local|C:/continuumMKS|MyProject

</scm>
with MyProject being a subdirectory (C:/continuumMKS/MyProject) containing
the pom.xml file.
I've also set this up to "upload" the POM instead of a file URL link
because file URL link didn't work...
