Hi all,

Im looking for a way to get the site/reporting plugin to generate site
output as xml so I can incorporate the raw content into jetspeed /
portlets. I can see that some of the surefire test and checkstyle raw
data is included in my build target dir when I run the site mojo.
However, for some reports it always produces the html, and ideally id
like a nice clean structure where the site folder simply contains all
the raw xml.

Ive tried an approach where I use a velocity template to produce the
minimum, i.e. just $bodycontent, but this still gives me presentation
markup and outputs the files as html.

I read on this blog entry
http://blogs.sun.com/roller/page/wilfred?entry=customing_maven_2_site_la
yout that doxia is the report rendering engine, but I cant find any docs
to explain how to configure it via a pom. I will in the meantime have a
look at the doxia and site plugin in source.

Anyone tried this before ? The ideal scenario would be create maven
reports as rss so my portlets can simply consume them in a standard way.

TIA

Adam
