I advise you to test the last SNAPSHOT if you can. We'll release it in some days. You can also have better performances if you test the last SNAPSHOT of the linkcheck plugin with the last SNAPSHOT of maven 1.1 beta 3 [1]. I noticed an important gain of performances [2][3].
