I'm not sure about the problem, but you could try the MevenIDE IDEA plugin
(available at http://mevenide.codehaus.org/mevenide-idea) so see if it
helps. It's currently in alpha stage though, but might be useful for you.

Hi,
I've got a problem with maven plugin with my project . When I click on the
play
button goals don't appear.
( with sample project from maven tutorial everything is ok).
Both Intellij Projects were made with 'maven idea' goal.
