I am afraid there is no good concept to get only relevant output (it’s not trivial) but you can use maven daemon I feel it compresses the output better for interactive consumption.
In addition to that some plugins might be especially bad (for your use case) - I would communicate that to the plugin project it’s nothing maven parent project has control over in all cases.
