HI David. Try accessing 
http://nexusprohost.com:8084/nexus/content/groups/cditspoc/com/oracle/coherence/coherence/12.1.2-0-0/coherence-12.1.2-0-0.pom
 via your browser. That will test if it is a maven problem or a nexus problem.
