Checkout your project in Eclipse from CVS.
Run 'maven eclipse' on your project inside workspaces/<your proj> on the
command line.
Refresh your project.
Set the MAVEN_REPO classpath variable in Eclipse

A la, dependencies handled.

To run maven, I think you have to configure an external tool.
