Hi Sergio, Thank you – I have managed to get this working by adding an entry security.enabled = true in the system-config.properties as suggested. I believe when I use a vm, marmotta cannot recognise the localhost and therefore allow access. From this point on I was able to set an admin password. Thanks for your help!

For the curl disabling security, the default profile would only accept that request from the local machine where marmotta is installed, so please be sure you are not in a remote host.
