If you read it, that blog post tells the story behind Apache Marmotta. We just kept the name KiWi for our triplestore as tribute and acknowledgement to where this piece of software was originated. But I guess all the ontology-driven web form research has been left behind in the EU project. Further details at http://www.kiwi-project.eu
