Hello. I am the administrator of a Zimbra 8.6 server and I needed to limit the number of messages that users can send per hour.
I installed Policyd and it is running. I have two problems that maybe you guys can help me with. First: sending messages to a lot of addresses is very slow with the policyd activated. I already tunned it with the following parameters but it doesn’t seem to make the processing much better. zmlocalconfig -e cbpolicyd_min_servers=8 zmlocalconfig -e cbpolicyd_min_spare_servers=8 zmlocalconfig -e cbpolicyd_max_spare_servers=16 zmlocalconfig -e cbpolicyd_max_servers=64 zmlocalconfig -e cbpolicyd_max_requests=1000 Second and most important: when I tell policyd to defer messages that is over the quota, in the postfix it just rejects it. I changed it to hold and it works, it sends to the hold section of zimbra, but that way I always have to requeue the messages that was held. I wonder if there is a way to make the Defer option on policyd actually send the message to the zimbra deferred queue. I appreciate the help. Best regards. ------- Leandro Meira Diretoria Técnica de Informática FCT Unesp - Presidente Prudente Tel (18)3229-5376
