MAILER-DAEMON is postfix itself!
Are you confusing the visible From header in the message and the
envelope sender ?
I think the envelope sender needs to be empty ( "<>" ?) while the From
header within the message can be anything.
The problem is that postfix don't rewrite this address in
MAILER-DAEMON@$Myorigin.
I have to identical mail server. I check now with postconf.
One is using policyd the other Postgrey.
I can't understand why postfix with policyd doesn't rename.
