HI,
I'm testing HRP on a single domain.
I configure HRP with:
Use HRP: Yes
HRP Period: 3600
HRP Limit: 2
After that from a PC uing telenet I connect to mail server and send:
EHLO prova.gelpi.it
MAIL FROM: [email protected]
RCPT TO: [email protected]
I got OK 250
Second test:
EHLO prova1.gelpi.it
MAIL FROM: [email protected]
RCPT TO: [email protected]
I got OK 250
Third test:
EHLO prova2.gelpi.it
MAIL FROM: [email protected]
RCPT TO: [email protected]
I got 554 5.7.1 <[email protected]>: Recipient address rejected:
Invalid HELO/EHLO; HRP limit exceeded
Then I wait more than one hour and resend the second test, but I got 554
HRP limit exceeded.
I retest this morning after more than 20 hours and i got the same message.
I don't understand why? Or better HRP Period what really check?
