Hello all,
I have the following problem. When Postfix is connecting to policyd I see
the following:
[2011/09/27-09:09:51 - 14414] [CORE] INFO: 2011/09/27-09:09:51 CONNECT TCP
Peer: "127.0.0.1:56589" Local: "127.0.0.1:10031"
[2011/09/27-09:09:51 - 14414] [CBPOLICYD] ERROR: Protocol data validation
error, required parameter 'instance' was not found or invalid format
I use the latest policyd2 (cluebringer) and Postfix 2.8.4 on a Debian
machine.
Searching for this problem on Google did not bring much up. I got the
opinion that it should work automaticly in Postfix.
The configuration is pretty much standard, I have inserted policyd in
Postfix that way:
smtpd_recipient_restrictions =
permit_mynetworks
permit_sasl_authenticated
reject_unknown_recipient_domain
reject_unauth_destination
check_recipient_access
proxy:mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql-virtual_recipient.cf
check_sender_ns_access hash:/etc/postfix/check_sender_ns
check_policy_service inet:127.0.0.1:10031
smtpd_end_of_data_restrictions=
check_policy_service inet:127.0.0.1:10031
I'm happy to present more configuration if needed.
Can anybody help or give me a clue? I'm kinda stuck here...
Thanks! :-)
Cheers,
Martin
