I got the same error with the official release. Tried using the
orig_header_fields call from inside the amavisd file with the same
result, so I don't know if it's an amavis or perhaps even a perl
problem. It appears to be returning a single digit instead of the
actual line from the headers. Sent a mail to the amavis-users list
about it. Will update if I find a solution just in case anyone else
runs into the problem while trying to integrate policyd v2 with
amavis.
